Fake says the BBC- Regarding the Nuclear Radiation Rumors in Asia

The BBC World News Service through its official website has denied the rumors regarding the fake text message and email warning to people regarding the radiation from the Fukushima nuclear plant. In its latest update the news service, denies any sort of involvement or release of any sort information regarding the radiation by its staff or member through SMS or email warnings to anyone. It was from Monday when people in Asia started receiving these messages regarding radiation and precautionary measures for the aftermath of the nuclear disasters that happened in Japan.
The rumor spread like fire when it was picked up by different social networking website and people started panicking in Aisa.
The update quotes, “The BBC has issued no such flash but the hoax has caused particular panic in the Philippines.”
Further the US Computer Emergency Readiness Team (US-CERT) has told computer users to be wary of potential e-mail scams, as well as fake anti-virus and phishing attacks regarding the Japan earthquake and the tsunami disasters, adds the news

Officials have extended the danger zone, warning residents within 30km (18 miles) to evacuate or stay indoors.
